Guess what? Heroes are not perfect people; no one is. Even cartoon and movie heroes like Batman are flawed. Our flaws and imperfections are what make us human; we therefore all make and have made mistakes in the past. Here’s the cool part – the mistakes we made in the past do not invalidate the contributions we make today, or will make in the future. Therefore, no matter how flawed we are and may feel, we all have the ability to do something heroic for another at any time.
