Napolean Hill used to say Whatever the mind of man can Conceive and Believe, it can Achieve. The ABCs in reverse order.
When I was a high school and college athlete, a triple jumper, I had a ritual of stretching and warming up. And during that ritual I always imagined hitting the “board” or stripe perfectly, launch and then into the step where I held my knee on place above my waist and then stretching to push off the end of the runway into the jump. The visualization worked. Senior year, 1978, I had the best jump in the State of New York State Qualifier meet.
This technique is used to train athletes from students to professionals. It has been shown that both baseball and basketball players who do 30 minutes of mental batting or shot practice followed by the real thing substantially improve.
Visualization leads to manifestation in numerous areas. If you had no doubts and were certain you could do something, and then were committed to the goal or outcome, you could do it. I went to grad school while working full time telling myself that in 5 years you will be 33 anyway, might as well be 33 and a Doctor.
Do your CBAs…..climb to your peak.
