The purpose of our goals is to change us as a person.
Life can be brutal, unforgiving. And because of this we must execute discipline. We must be willing to work through pain. I have found that life doesn’t give you what you want, it gives you what you deserve.
But then there is another thing to be mindful of, and that’s grace. Grace is getting something that you did not earn, or did not deserve. It is something you can ask for.
And lastly today I want to leave you with an attitude that you can adopt, it is that of gratitude. When you can move to the point where you react with gratitude for the setbacks, hardships, and even failures that you experience, and adopt the belief that life is what happens for you, and not what happens to you, then you will have made tremendous progress towards your goals.
