My mother taught me a great lesson. She said “ Bill, money is like blood, it is meant to circulate”. This little ditty is part of the Law of Attraction and overcomes the disempowering feeling of scarcity. Some simple rules: You cannot live in scarcity and have attraction. You must contribute if you want to attract. I am always reminded of mom’s ditty when I hear other parents complain about their “blood sucking” teenagers. To be balanced we must have goals for contributions, adventures and fun.
In the area of contribution my Big Vision is to be a philanthropist, producing inexpensive corrective eyeglasses for the masses in 3rd world countries. This is the start of my 4th yeAr working towards the goal. I just need a few more contributing persons to move into production.
Adventure and Toys. Passion, Adventure and Fun are several of my top 10 traits. I love travel and going on spontaneous boondoggles. I like toys too. Since our brains are not wired for happiness, but survival and success, adventures and toys allow us to have fun and “to do the pattern of happy”. Doing happy refreshes our spirit or soul, heart or emotions, mind or mental, and even our physical bodies. It is essential to balance. I fully believe my God wants me to enjoy things, but never to put these things before Him. Gratitude to Him for these blessings erases anger and fear and clears the barriers between us.
So as part of the goals we have recently discussed write down the contributions, toys and adventures you see yourself committing to achieving today, this month, this year, this decade.
