Replacement patterns and habits require exercise and conditioning. So if you just did your recharge it’s time to get back into action. The neurology to get back into the old pattern may be faded but it is still there, like an unused set of railway tracks with the grass growing between the spars. If we were speaking about muscles lifters would say “muscles have memory”, or “it’s like riding a bicycle, you never forget”. I wish I had a good cliche for new patterns of thinking, new patterns of emotions, but I don’t in the moment. Stick with that new and better pattern, use it often.
