Yesterday’s blog pointed out mixed associations. Now let’s spell them out, literally. We will use a BEN Franklin inventory. Grab a piece, draw a line down the middle. Pick the area of your life where you are stuck because of mixed associations (feelings, emotions). Could be finances, relationship, work, kids, school, health, whatever, who ever, wherever. Left column list every uncomfortable, negative, or disempowering feeling you gave about the area, right column everything positive. I will bet there are one or two items that really stand out for you. Now you are aware of the source of the problem, the issue, the challenge. It’s like the warning lights in your car telling you that you need to take an action. You can now start to create a different story, assign a new meaning, take a different approach to make that assigned or perceived negative into a positive,
It is really that simple since the mixup is on your head. Prove me wrong. If that doesn’t work then you need to hire me.
