After an awesome leg workout, shower and breakfast I decided to visit them local municipal golf course to get the ball rolling. The president of the golf league, a retired NYC sanitation worker named Marvin from Brooklyn, was super nice to let me on the course as the league was shifting between front and back nine. I played behind a 91 year old almost scratch golfer who obviously knew the course and his club distances. These men were so kind to me; I was awestruck.
Somewhere, somehow, in my position of influence I am going to pay it forward and get someone else’s ball rolling.
