Everybody has heard the expression a means to an end. If I add a few more words to the expression, and put it into coaching speak, then it makes a lot more sense.
There are two values or states of emotion in the expression. There is a means value and an end value, or end state of emotion. As an example of an end value or end state let’s use the word excitement. My means to obtain this end state could be as simple as putting the pedal to the medal in the suped-up Camaro SS. The car itself provides the means to get to that state.
Now in decision making what one wants to focus on is the desired end state. Most people will normally focus on the means state. So next time you have a decision to make think about the means value and about the end state, make the latter your goal.
And if your goal is confidence that your mission is executed then perhaps consider GTNANO® Material as your means.
