Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? I know that I am. Fake news, political hatred (I really enjoy deleting 100 emails plus daily I did not subscribe to), the random acts of violence and mass slaughter, liars and thieves, criminals , and so so many more; my list of things is exhausting, how about yours? They suck the very energy and joy and life out of me in an instant of time. The worst part is I know that I am not supposed to go into that mental and neighborhood.
So what to do about it? For me it’s all about focus. I love the little ditty that says where focus goes energy flows. When I focus on all these things it causes a negative shift in me. It takes me in a direction that I don’t want to go. And it is my choice of focus and choice of reactions to places, people and things that 100% dictates how I feel.
For me I have found that I need to focus on all things good and God. I very much believe, i.e. have a conviction, that we are all in the middle of a war zone. And in this war zone I must take time to focus my thought outside of that neighborhood and never go into it alone. I work at seeking how I can be a Force for good, a Force for God and then taking action in that direction. It is that simple for me. And some days I am better at it than others.
Besides focus, Finding multiple things to be grateful about every day is one of the great little habits that help overcome sick and tired.
Do these things for just 3 days and see if you notice a difference- better focus and thoughts of gratitude.
