Wikipedia defines Single Event Upset as: A single-event upset (SEU), also known as a single-event error (SEE), is a change of state caused by one single ionizing particle (ions, electrons, photons…) striking a sensitive node in a live micro-electronic device, such as in a microprocessor, semiconductor memory, or power transistors. Space Systems Engineers go to a lot of lengths to prevent SEUs, else how are you going to get your TV, radio, internet, or Uber Eats. And so should you go to any lengths to prevent SEUs in all aspects of your life.
Huh? No, I am not talking about shielding your electronics (though I am happy to provide those goods and services), I am speaking of failures… neglecting to make a call, following up with a client to thank them for their time, saying “I love you” to that special person. Small decisions or non-decisions add up. And it is the same with success, so what little decision or action could you make today to move towards a future successful outcome?
