I am an consistently blown away by the persons who contribute their resources of time, money, knowledge and spirit to help improve the quality of living of other human beings, especially the ones whom pull this off with humility, as if it is nothing at all. They are everywhere around us. I have seen them in schools, houses of worship, in the neighborhood, on TV, etc. The one thing I have observed that they all share is a sense of fulfillment. So the result of contribution is therefore fulfillment. Yet there are those others who give, but under the thin veil of insincerity they are miserable, unfulfilled.
I challenge you to think of which giver you are. Are you the true giver, do you have the desire to be a true giver? Think about it. What needs to happen? I will give you a hint – watch A Christmas Carol and pay attention to Scrooge.
