My blog, I am taking liberties today. I am going to use an almost 2 decade example instead of a decade.
In 2001 Elon Musk goes to Russia for a business meeting and a Russian Chief Engineer spits on him. Jump to February 2012 and SpaceX has a private valuation of $1.3B, and almost double that a few months later. Now in 2020 SpaceX has a valuation exceeding $33B, and Musk has accomplished extraordinary achievements. The big jump early on was because Elon understood the economics of vertical integration and life cycle costs.
Somebody spit on me right now! Please! Well people actually did lots worse to me in the past. I hardly every think about them, I never waste my time or energies on them. They really did me a huge favor. I bless them and pray for them when I think about them. They launched me just like a SpaceX Falcon.
Goodman Technologies has filed 10 patents in the last 2 years. Some of my energies are spent in part on creating the plan to raise the capital to monetize the game changing product verticals that will be produced by the new companies I am launching. I use some of my energies to envision the financial resources these businesses will provide and the many lives I can impact in a positive manner in the Service of the Lord. The rest of my energies are spent doing what is before me right now.
Besides a Tesla, I don’t know what drives Elon Musk, but I do know what drives me, and my 10-year vision, now 3.5 years in, is bold and audacious, and requires the hand of God to achieve it, there is no other way.
